Finally some new cards

Here are some more cards I made yesterday using my "new" Gorjuss Girls stamps. Am addicted to Sugar Nellies and have quite a collection now. I want them all. However have decided to limit myself to 3 or 4 every pay day. (which is once a month, wish it was weekly LOL). However with them bringing new stamps out every month I think I'll probably end up breaking my rules. The images were coloured in by my daughter I think she did a lovely job. I particularly like the red one.

Hello

Have been very busy so have not had enough time to create anything. Working 60 hour weeks at the moment plus overtime. But 2 more days will see me with 2 weeks off. So watch this space. I'm sure I'll be able to fit some crafting in.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 13

Challenge 13 as well as the sketch was to use "Kraft" or browns and creams (i have no idea what Kraft is). I have used the Little Goth Girl stamp. (I really like this stamp). And orange pearls and gems (although the flowers look green in the scan).

Daughters Birthday

Here is the card I have made for my daughters 16th Birthday. The stamp is the Sugar Nellie - Little Goth Girl - my daughter is "goth" and also likes purple. I used lots of pearls and gems as well and have used only 2 Sakura gel pens to colour in the image, but watercoloured with them to get the shading.

Fathers Day Card

Back to the old faithfull Daisy and Dandelion decoupage sheets - card for my father-in-law. The buttons are decoupaged too.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 12 Entry

Here is my entry for challenge 12 in the Sugar Bowl - there was a sketch to follow by Lisa and the colours blue and green were the requirements. It's not scanned very well and looks a bit wonky. All the papers used are from a Sizzix pack, I have used pearls, gems and a floradoodle. The stamp is Sugar Nellie - Country Garden, I experimented colouring in the hair by using 3 different shades of brown.

Pirate in Greens

Another card using the Sugar Nellie Pirate stamp - the senitment is cut out from the Daisy and Dandelion decoupage sheet - papermania papers from a stack.

Another Pirate

I cannot just use a stamp once, so here is another one.

Sugar Nellie - Pirate

My daughters boyfriend is soon to be 16 and he has this fascination with Pirates so have made this card for his birthday. I searched Photobucket for the background papers. Used the SUGAR NELLIE pirate stamp coloured in with Marvy Markers and Sakura gel pens. Copper brads for the corners and gems to add some accents. However still think there is something missing/wrong but can't quite put my finger on it.

Sweet and Sassy - Blues

Another card made using the Sweet and Sassy stamp for Sugar Nellie, I was not too sure about the flowers to begin with I handmade them using the rear of the Bookatrix board, but I think they turned out alright.

Just going absolutely mad for the Sugar Nellie stamps - I own another 1 that I will be playing with soon and have ordered 2 more. I think they are exquisite and I just love colouring them in.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 11

Here is my entry for this weeks Sugar Bowl Challenge - it  was a to include pearls within the sketch design provided along with the obligatory Sugar Nellie stamp. My stamp is the Sweet and Sassy stamp and I have used 2 heart pearls, 1 oval pearl and 4 circle pearls within the design. The papers are from the Smirk collection. And the striped card I think is from a Dawn Bibby pack from years back. Image is coloured in with metallic pencils and Sakura glaze pens.

More Daisy and Dolly Sugar Nellie stamp

I love this stamp it is so pretty and I have really enjoyed experimenting by using different colour co-ordinations. I have used some K&Co baking papers on the green ones and the yellow and blue were from a Joanna Sheen CD and some papermania papers.

Another Sugar Nellie Card

Using the Daisy and Dolly stamp again but this time coloured in red with red background papers, card and embellishments.

The Sugar Bowl Sketch Challenge 10

This is my first Sugar Nellie stamp that came  in the post this morning -so I have used it to enter The Sugar Bowl Challengewhich was to follow a sketch but also to use buttons. I have used the Daisy and Dolly stamp along with smirk background papers, glitter background paper and silver mirri paper, have used mulberry flowers and have added pearlescent heart and dot gems and then the obligatory buttons. I coloured the image in using water colour pencils as at the moment this is the only colouring media I have. I also used smirk naughty and nice sticky ribbon.

Anniversary card

It's my 12th wedding anniversary on Saturday 16th May and have made this card for my Husband - I have added extra embellishments to the card such as a glitter border to the topper, glitter on the paintbrush and pots, glitter straight line border stickers, and heart gems.

Entry For Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

The challenge was to use flowers in your entry - I have used a flower background paper, mulberry flowers in the upper right hand corner, flower being held by bunny and 4 flower gems in the corners.

Cute Cards Thursday -Mirror - Mirror entry

The theme is to use something shiny - my shiny is the silver mirror paper that makes up one of the layers on the card and a layer on each of the small flower toppers.

Colouring in Large Stamps

I find it really hard colouring in large stamps - however am quite pleased with this - I used watercolour pencils which I have not used before - and also used them to colour in the dragonfly and butterfly embellishments - I thought maybe it needed a little something else - but was not sure what it was.
